How long is nintendo wifi supposed to take to fully load? My little brother is trying to log on to the Pokemon Battle Tower wifi and it has taken a long time and it still has not fully connected. We have already set up the Wifi System (typing in all of our information to the DS) and the system says it is in range of our wireless internet.

When will Nintendo start making new systems and not redoing the same one? I love nintendo from the day i unpacked my NES but I am mad about the fact that they arent making a new system they just continue to revamp the same with smaller size, bigger sceens and bigger styluses. At this point just use a pen. I also noticed that they continue to remove features such as game boy compatability. When is there going to be a handheld nintendo system that isnt DS(insert upgrade here)?

Tekken 6 PS3 Slim 250GB Bundle Revealed, Arrives This Month
A few days ago we caught a peek at the PS3 Slim 250GB NFS Shift Edition's gray box, and today Dutch site NextGamer.nl (linked above) has revealed the Tekken 3 PS3 Slim 250GB bundle.
Pictured below, the new Tekken 6 bundle is expected to cost approximately €349 and be available for sale this month.
To quote, roughly translated: "The Slim PlayStation 3 will be bundled with some new games, so we know that Need for Speed: Shift example, will form a bundle.
But now we found by chance the image of Tekken 6 a bundle. This image came to us at the official Sony site!
How much this bundle will cost? We estimate €349. And this month, the PS3 Slim 250GB for sale!"

Sony London: The Getaway 3 & Eight Days for PS3 Not Cancelle
Last year Sony Computer Entertainment announced that it cancelled production on two PlayStation 3 titles in development at the Sony London Studio, namely The Getaway 3 and Eight Days.
Just over a month ago some related video and media from the titles surfaced, and today GameSpot is reporting that The Getaway 3 and Eight Days are not abandoned after all!
To quote from an interview with Sony Studio London's Nicolas Doucet:
“I would not say they have been abandoned, just put to one side. Much work had been done. The studio just wanted to focus on its strengths, EyeToy and SingStar. Given the potential of EyePet, priorities have been changed, but the other projects aren’t dead yet. Ultimately, the decision [to put those games to one side] has benefited everyone.”
He then goes on to describe that Studio London have one other game in development but gives no details. He describes it as a “different concept”.

EA Files Trademarks for The Ripper, First Details Available
According to the an article on the LATimes, Electronic Arts has filed two trademark registrations for an upcoming video game dubbed The Ripper.
The title is likely to be a Visceral Games' Project, and will be based on the 19th century British serial killer Jack the Ripper.
To quote from Destructoid on some of the game's preliminary details:
"When you think of Jack the Ripper, you think of a psychopathic serial killer right? Well, what if everything we knew about Jack was wrong? What if Jack the Ripper was actually a good person, killing to save other people’s lives?
That’s the Jack our sources tell us you're going to experience in The Ripper. He’s a supernatural slayer protecting people from demons, vampires and other evil monsters. And seeing as how this is Visceral Studios, don’t expect your typical, played-out demons.

Today Internet retailer Amazon.com have expanded their online offerings by offering customers access to both a PlayStation Network PSP and PS3 store HERE.
The most obvious advantage of this new service is the convenience of being able to make PSN purchases directly from your Web browser.
To quote: "The online retailer is now offering PlayStation Network content for the PSP and PlayStation 3.

Sony CEO Jack Tretton: PS3 Sales Are Skyrocketing
After news of Sony's recent net loss, today it appears there is finally a positive outlook for the PlayStation 3 videogame console!
In a video interview with from Quentin Hardy of Forbes, Sony CEO Jack Tretton stated that PS3 sales are now skyrocketing.
This comes after the PS3 Slim announcement, recent PS3 price drop and PS3 sales increase.
To quote: "Skyrocketing sales, Quentin. Couldn't be happier with the numbers that we're seeing, and I think proof that there was tremendous consumer demand. They were just waiting for the price point to come down."
Quite refreshing news indeed, especially considering this is a PS3 site eh? :p

New NBA 2K10 Demo and Features Detailed for PlayStation 3
Today 2K Sports Community Manager Ronnie Singh has announced news of a new NBA 2K10 PS3 demo and detailed the features.
To quote: The demo for PlayStation 3 will be out October 15th. It will feature a one quarter match-up between last year’s NBA Finals opponents: pitting the Orlando Magic at the Los Angeles Lakers.
You will get four of the most intense game play minutes to become familiar with the game and get a taste of why NBA 2K10 will be unrivaled in the basketball arena. It still amazes me how all ten of the players on the court match their real life counterparts, both physically and in their tendencies.

ESRB Reveals More PSOne Classics Heading to PS3 and PSP
According to the latest ESRB listing, several new PSOne Classics are coming to Sony's PlayStation 3 and PSP consoles via PlayStation Network.
To quote from Examiner.com (linked above): "They have several exciting PSOne Classics on the horizon.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board recently rated several games as PSOne Classics. Although some were already released, a handful of upcoming titles were also revealed.
